#OurVoice: George Couros at TEDxBurnsvilleED

George Couros is the Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning for Parkland School Division in Alberta, Canada. He is a leader in the area of innovation, his focus is always the development of leadership and people to do what is best for kids. His mix of research, personal stories, and practical ways to implement new learning helps others feel comfortable in taking risks in their own learning. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
