Phishers quizes and tool for professional development

http://www.opendns.com/phishing-quiz/

Chances are that in the past few weeks you've received an e-mail in your inbox that pretends to be from your bank, e-commerce vendor, or other on-line site. Hopefully you've realized that many times this e-mail is fake - a phishing e-mail. The sender (phisher) of these fake e-mails wants you to click on the link in the e-mail and go to a phishing Web site - which will look just like the Web site of the company being phished. Once on the phishers Web site they hope to obtain your account, financial, credit and even identity information. Of course not every e-mail you receive is a phish. In fact you should expect your bank or e-commerce vendor to send you legitimate e-mail. But how can you tell the difference? Well that's what the Phishing IQ test is all about - give it a try and see how you do.

Where is all the K12 Digital textbooks that have been promised and that have been talked about.

There is much talk about talking current textbooks and moving them to a pdf digital format. I think this is going in the wrong direction. If we take a old text book and scan it we will have just the same old format. If we move to an interactive online format as CK12.org then we will be moving to an engaging interactive format that excites student to learn on there own.

CK-12 is a non-profit organization that creates and aggregates high quality, curated STEM content. Our library includes over 5,000 super awesome math and science concepts and FlexBooks with multiple modalities for all learning types including: videos, images, reading, simulations, real world applications, activities, flashcards, study guides, assessments and more!
