"The National Repository of Online Courses is a non-profit effort to offer a growing library of high-quality online course content appropriate for both secondary and higher education learners.
NROC courses are contributed by developers from leading academic institutions across the United States. All courses are evaluated to ensure they meet high standards of scholarship, instructional value, and presentational impact. NROC courses are designed to cover the breadth and depth of topics based on generally accepted national curricula.
Learning objects that comprise the NROC courses are distributed free-of-charge to individual students and teachers at HippoCampus.org. Organizations wishing to use NROC content to support broader institutional efforts are invited to become members of the NROC Network. Contact membership@montereyinstitute.org to learn more about additional resources and services available to sustaining members of the Network."
This is a place for me to share some of my work. On this site you will find many examples of micro lessons. Many of them will take the form of 1 to 10 minutes video clips or short to the point articles. I believe that micro lessons could be a powerful tool that we can use with students. I hope that you enjoy this Blog site. This site will discuss educational technology as a tool for student learning. Site Publisher Fred Sharpsteen email contact sharpstf@gmail.com
